Formalin is a chemical compound with the chemical formula CH₂O and consists of methanol, hydrogen, oxygen, and small amounts of copper and aluminum. This compound is also known as formaldehyde, methanal, methyl aldehyde, methylene glycol, and methylene oxide. It is available on the market either as an aqueous solution or in the gaseous phase.

Product Applications:
Formalin is used as a raw material in the production of urea-formaldehyde adhesives for particleboard, MDF, and plywood production lines, as well as in urea-formaldehyde (UF) and melamine-formaldehyde (MF) impregnation resins. It is also used in impregnation lines for concrete plasticizers, hexamine, pentaerythritol, cellulosic textile industries, fiberglass, and melamine-formaldehyde (MFM) and urea-formaldehyde (UFM) molding powders.
Formalin is also used for disinfection in hospitals, livestock and poultry farms, contaminated public areas, and in the hygienic detergent industry.
The formalin concentration can be adjusted according to customer requirements.

Shelf Life
When stored in stainless steel or carbon steel tanks with anti-corrosion coating, under controlled conditions and at a temperature range of 37 to 47°C, it remains usable for up to 3 months.
